If you want to know all the wild crap that goes on at a wedding, ask a wedding photographer. It’s the flies on the wall of the shindig that sneak a glance at everything from pre-wedding nervousness to boozy antics at the reception.
TikTok user Shayla herrington dropped a video where she revealed telltale signs that a couple are doomed. SENTENCED.
She said she learned the three signs while working at a wedding under the guidance of a wedding photographer who has been in the business for over 10 years.
Keep in mind that this is all based on opinions and not real facts, so if you recognize these signs of your own nuptials and have a happy marriage, don’t be afraid. This is obviously a guess!
“I was photographing under this wedding photographer once, and they told me they could always tell if a couple would last or not, based on three things,” she began.
Sign # 1: If the bride or groom wants loads of shots without their other half
The first sign is if one of the future spouses asks for more than three piccies without his partner.
“This one makes a little bit of sense to me, just because you might have a few with your mom and dad.” But expelling them from more than three photos – seems a bit suspicious, ”she said.
Sign # 2: If the wedding party doesn’t seem to care about the bride or groom
The next sign is if bridesmaids or groomsmen avoid talking about the other half of their mate while they are getting ready or toasting.
“It’s usually because they don’t like them,” she said.
Sign # 3: If the spouses don’t spend a lot of time together at the reception
The third and final sign is when both spouses spend more time with family and friends than with each other on their wedding day.
This sparked a plethora of responses in the comments section, with people agreeing to some of the red flags and adding their two cents as well.
A commentator confirmed the signs were correct as they recognized some of them from their own marriage and said their marriage fell apart afterwards.
“Yeah. My ex-husband didn’t spend time with me at the wedding, and his groomsmen didn’t say hello to me at all,” wrote one TikTok user.
Another commentator added his own red flag, with which I quietly agree: “I heard another photographer say that if one spouse crushes a cake in the other’s face, that’s a good indication that it is. won’t last because it’s rooted in humiliation. “
