Tori Roloff opens up about her “struggle” to love herself during pregnancy

Tori Roloff comes to terms with her pregnancy experience.

the Small people, big world The star opened up about her pregnancy with her third child in a vulnerable post shared on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

“Reminder: growing a human being is hard,” Roloff wrote in the caption of the mirror selfie. “Sometimes I struggle with my appearance during pregnancy.”

She referenced her outfit, a gray hoodie and leggings, and added, “That’s what I wear to dinner because I’m not comfortable in regular clothes.”

She went on to say that she was “trying to love herself” during her pregnancy, “because our bodies are crazy. Aren’t they?”

Roloff – who shares son Jackson Kyle, 4, and daughter Lilah Ray, 2, with husband Zach Roloff – announced her pregnancy in November, after suffering a miscarriage in March.

Last month, she celebrated a milestone in her pregnancy, letting her fans know “we’re halfway there!” in an Instagram snap of her cradling her baby bump.

She previously opened up on Instagram about the difficulty she was having getting excited about her baby on the way after suffering her miscarriage six weeks into her last pregnancy.

“I feel like a miscarriage really steals your joy,” she said in November. “This pregnancy, it’s been so hard to be excited. However, we’ve seen baby a few times and heard her heart beat a ton. And it’s loud.”

She added that feeling her unborn child, due this spring, moving “quite regularly” served as a calming mechanism.

“My first trimester was pretty miserable. I slept a ton. I couldn’t eat anything. And I was bloated beyond belief. I was convinced it was a girl,” Tori explained. “My second trimester (it went SO fast!) went much better. Less bloating. More appetite, and I feel like I’m moving and feeling great this time around! Now , I think it’s a boy.”

She went on to say that she was “so grateful to God for this gift”, adding, “This pure and complete gift and I am so grateful that my body is able to nurture this sweet life.”
