A bride decided to add flavor to her wedding by replacing the traditional flower girl with a “money man”.

In Western weddings, there is a tradition that a little flower girl walks down the aisle throwing petals in front of the bride to classical music while the guests stand in silence. However, a video of a wedding with a twist is going viral on the internet for all the right reasons. A bride decided to add flavor to her wedding by replacing the traditional bridesmaid with a “money man” walking down the aisle, punctuating hip hop music and flooding guests with cash.

The 33-second clip was originally shared by Las Vegas-based wedding planner Events by Jenny on TikTok. The caption of the post read: “Who needs a florist when you have a man of money.” The clip shows a guy with a beard, dressed in black, raining down on guests a huge pile of money with hip-hop music. The guests seem delighted and left out by surprise and the “money man” ends his walk by posing for the camera.

It created a lot of buzz and was eventually shared across multiple social media platforms. Watch the clip here:

According to a report from The Sun, Jenny later confirmed that it was real money thrown in the video, to which many asked why guests didn’t jump at the chance to catch it as much as ‘we could.

According to LADbible, the clip has racked up over 13 million views, 2.5 million likes and received over 12,000 comments on the video sharing app. One of the questions asked over and over was if this was real money and why people weren’t catching it all. One user wrote that he stood up from his seat and started picking everything up and asked why the guests were just sitting there. Another person wrote that she would have been on the floor picking up every note.

However, not everyone was impressed with the idea and many described it as “classless” and “clingy”.
