Ackworth, Georgia – Jaipur Living is the latest company to achieve the Nest Seal of Ethical Craftsmanship, a consumer seal that ensures that artisans working in homes and small workshops receive the same protections as their counterparts in socially compliant factories and that the products they manufacture meet the highest degree of ethical production standards.

To earn the Nest Seal, Jaipur Living’s supply chain has been assessed against the Nest Standards for Homes and Small Workshops and the company has demonstrated its commitment to the five core principles of the standards, which protect workers’ rights. textbooks from around the world. This achievement places Jaipur Living in a community of 13 companies that have earned the Nest Seal through months of training, dedication and hard work alongside Nest.

Jaipur Living, a member of the Nest steering committee, which launched the standards at the United Nations in 2016, partners with more than 6,000 weavers, knotters and yarn spinners across Rajasthan, India, to produce rugs, pillows and refined interior decorations. In total, Jaipur Living and its family of brands support more than 40,000 weavers, providing artisans with the opportunity to earn a sustainable living while reviving an age-old, endangered art form.
