Grants Pass police accuse two men of sexually abusing minors last week

GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Police from the Grants Pass Public Safety Department (GPDPS) arrested two men last week, both accused of sexually abusing minors.

A police officer responded to All Sports Park on Friday “to investigate a suspicious vehicle,” the agency said. The officer allegedly found 20-year-old Gabriel Rosencrans there.

An investigation found Rosencrans had sex with a 16-year-old girl inside the vehicle, GPDPS said. Officers arrested Rosencrans and placed him in the Josephine County Jail on two counts of Sexual Abuse II, contributing to the sexual corruption of a minor, public indecency and sexual misconduct.

On Tuesday, detectives said they received information from an independent investigation that indicated that Aystyn H. Boeggeman, 21, had sex with a 15-year-old girl.

“A subsequent investigation revealed that Boeggeman had sex with a 15-year-old woman when he was 20,” GPDPS said.

The next day, officers found Boeggeman in a house on the 4000 block of Dick George Road near Cave Junction and took him into custody. Boeggeman was charged with twelve counts of Rape III, eleven counts of sodomy III, eight counts of sexual abuse II, 23 counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and 23 counts of sexual misconduct.
