Coleen Nolan revealed that she would encourage her children to sign prenuptial agreements before getting married, saying it was the “best decision you could ever make [make]”.

Appearing on loose women On Monday, the singer admitted that while she was against prenups when she married first husband Shane Richie in 1990, she thinks the split is “chaos” without one.

Amid news that Brooklyn Beckham and his future wife, Nicola Peltz, signed an epic prenup before their wedding day, the panelists discussed whether they would encourage their children to sign a prenup before the wedding.
Coleen said: “If you had asked me this question in my twenties when I first got married, I would have said, “Absolutely not,‘ It horrified me, it took away all the love, all the romance. When I got married it was for life and I was like, ‘This feels like a business venture.

“However, it took me on the verge of 57 to realize it’s the best decision you can make [make] is to sign a prenup because hopefully you sign a prenup and you never have to use it because it will be for life and you will love each other forever. But if it goes wrong, there’s nothing worse than that, it’s just chaos.”

She went on to explain that she would be willing to sign a prenup if her hypothetical future husband was “super rich.” “I would like to sign him so he knows, romantically, that I’m not with him for the money, I’m with him because I love him. Likewise, if I’m the one with the money and someone says they don’t want to sign it, I’d think, ‘Oh, I know your playmate.’
“Now I’m really like, ‘Sign here and then we can put the ring on, thank you’“, she added jokingly.

Coleen is currently in a relationship with Michael Jones, who works in logistics at a supermarket chain. The couple first met on the dating app Tinder more than eight months ago.
The 57-year-old opened up about her instant connection with Michael when she appeared on ITV’s daytime chat show in January. Speaking of their first date, she said, “There was never any awkward silence,” she said. “We talked about everything. It was like five hours of Loose Women. We went from really random stuff, like funny stuff, to really serious debates.”
